One Whole Farmacy began with a stage four cancer diagnosis and a deep will to LIVE.
Listening to the plants brought Willow back into full health and they still have something new to teach us every day.
When Willow was 6 months pregnant with twins and preparing for her marriage to end, her body had a superbloom moment of lung cancer coming into the causing-symtpoms stage. Because of course it did; what else could happen during that wild time of life being rearranged!?
She began praying to the All That Is, asking for assistance, to give her her life back so she could at least be there for her babies. The plants came to the rescue, as they always do, and the lovely "weed" Mullein was the catalyst to healing. With the assistance of myriad plant relatives, the cancer went into remission over the next two years.
As of May 2025, Willow is Cancer Free and celebrating 8 years of healing lungs!!
How We Grow
The values of our farm and mentality are rooted in The Earth is Our Mother, We Must Take Care of Her. Everything we do, all the ingredients we source, and the way we work with the plants is all centered around that notion. We are very pro-pollinator and work to provide habitat and abundant food sources for pollinators of all varieties.
When creating our offerings, our standards are the highest we can imagine, and we're always striving for better. We source certified organic and biodynamically grown herbs and other ingredients as often as they exist, often direct from the grower.
If we are able to grow it ourselves, we use a mycelium amended soil and never use petroleum-based amendments. We have rain water collection and use things like companion planting and sacrificial plants for pests. In the past for serious issues, we’ve used food grade diatomaceous earth, cayenne and/or cinnamon powder, beneficial nematode soil amendment, etc.
As the season and elements allow, we wildcraft from very clean sources after analyzing the area’s water flow and ensuring an honorable harvest. This means speaking to the spirits of the water, the spirits of the plants, and the spirits of all our relatives with whom we share the beautiful wild spaces.
Regenerative or Sustainable?
Sustainability isn’t actually enough for us- our goal is being regenerative with our actions. Being aware that everything we do influences the 7 generations that will come after us, whether that’s humans or every other plant/animal/insect relative, we work to take mindful, diligent steps on our Mother Earth to leave only beauty and abundance behind as our legacy.
